The Book

Communicate with Mastery provides readers with a rich toolkit of frameworks for leadership communication, developed and taught over the past decade at Stanford’s Graduate School of Business. I collaborated with my colleague, friend, and mentor JD Schramm, Ed.D, founder of the GSB’s Mastery in Communication Initiative, to offer the most helpful approaches for leaders to speak, write, and navigate relationships in a memorable and impactful way. 

We developed the insights in the book to help you learn how to get the results you want as a leader and communicator, including:

• Speaking with conviction and writing with impact

• Tailoring your communication to any goal, setting, or audience

• Scaling your leadership through effective coaching

We hope that the book will offer actionable techniques that you can use right away in your meetings, presentations, interviews, posts, emails, and relationships to get more meaningful outcomes.
